INTERREG IVC brought inspiration to Czech regions
The third in a row 'Inspiration for future' workshop organised by INTERREG IVC for representatives of public authorities and bodies governed by public law took place on 11 April 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic. The participants discussed the benefits for their regions and interregional cooperation in the new funding period 2014-2020.
RTF final conference (Arctic Light e-Health Conference 2012)
The Arctic Light e-Health Conference 2012 comprises a proactive programme being held during Swedish Midsummer Week. The conference offers interesting presentations and opportunities to meet and discuss with representatives and experts in the field to drive eHealth deployment in health and social care.
Day 1, which is also the Regional Telemedicine Forum end of project conference, will focus on strategies and guidelines for prevention and treatment to address the increasing number of chronically ill patients in the community. It is predicted that they will become the biggest care consumer group in Europe.
Day 2 will be devoted to interdisciplinary debates about change management, patient empowerment, innovation and financing – all highly topical subjects in meeting the demands made on future care.
ALEC2012 is a joint arrangement of Norrbotten County Council, AER - the Assembly of European Regions, RTF - Regional Telemedicine Forum and EIC, E-health Innovation Centre at Luleå University of Technology.
The conference has a registration fee of SEK 1995. Registration is open until 14 May at www.go-on.se/alec.asp.
