First level control information

The Republic of Slovenia has chosen a centralised control system. Expenditure of project partners from Slovenia will thus have to be checked and confirmed by the following body:

Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy
European Territorial Cooperation and Financial Mechanism Office
Control Division – ETC, IPA and IFM programmes
Kotnikova 5
1000 Ljubljana

Ms. Špela Dragar
Kotnikova 5
SI-1000 Ljubljana

Phone: +386 1 400 34 27
E-mail: spela.dragar@gov.si

The above-mentioned body will perform the first level control free of charge to Slovenian project partners.

Specific requirements relating to the reporting of the shared costs for Slovenian partners

Slovenia will only allow the first way of reporting shared costs as defined in point 5 of Reporting shared costs under chapter 4.3.3. of the INTERREG IVC Programme Manual, i.e. “the partners pay their shares of the cost to the responsible partner and after reimbursement include expenditure (the related share) in their financial report, which is then validated by their controller”.

On-the-spot checks

In order to comply with the obligation to carry out on-the-spot checks according to Regulation (EC) No. 1828/2006 Article 13 (2) amended by Regulation (EC) No. 846/2009, and in compliance with Chapter 2.2. of the reporting guidelines for the Slovenian partners, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology will carry out on-the-spot checks for all Slovenian project partners included in the INTERREG IVC programme at least once during the lifetime of the project.
