INTERREG IVC brought inspiration to Czech regions
The third in a row 'Inspiration for future' workshop organised by INTERREG IVC for representatives of public authorities and bodies governed by public law took place on 11 April 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic. The participants discussed the benefits for their regions and interregional cooperation in the new funding period 2014-2020.
Regions for Economic Change Conference "Building Sustainable Growth", 20-21 May 2010
INTERREG IVC will be participating in the upcoming conference in Brussels, along with the Fast Track Capitalisation projects (Capitalisation Projects are interregional cooperation projects which focus specifically on the transfer of regional development good practices into mainstream EU ...) from the first call. These projects are coming to a close, and a workshop will examine the first results. A ceremony to launch the action plans produced by the project partners will take with Commissioner for Regional Policy, Johannes Hahn, after the workshop on 20 May.
The programme continues with a political forum, and thematic workshops. High-profile key-note speakers will speak about "Long-term Research and Innovation Policies for Sustainable Growth" and about "Sustainable Energy and Climate Change: Challenges for Regional Policy Solutions" in the context of regional policy. Prominent panels consisting of European Commissioners, politicians and practioners will then discuss about the future of European regional policy with a view towards the year 2020.
