The participants discussed the benefits for their regions and interregional cooperation in the new funding period 2014-2020.

Fourth call dates set for INTERREG IVC

The next call for INTERREG IVC projects will open end-January or beginning February 2011 and close end of March or early April 2011.

The INTERREG IVC Monitoring Committee has decided that all themes will in principle be open for submissions. There are restrictions on the types of projects eligible to be submitted however. Given the time-frame until the end of the programming period, it will be no longer possible to submit Capitalisation projects (Capitalisation Projects are interregional cooperation projects which focus specifically on the transfer of regional development good practices into mainstream EU ...) or mini-programmes (mini-programmes are projects with a limited number of partners developing a joint framework for interregional cooperation that will be implemented through a limited ...) .

Around EUR 100 million ERDF remains for project funding.
