INTERACT has launched a video contest 'Border issues, border solutions' for the European Cooperation Day 2014. European projects, ETC programmes, and individual filmmakers are invited to share their videos about the results and benefits of territorial cooperation in Europe. Sign the Charter for Multilevel Governance in Europe

The Committee of the Regions adopted a Charter for Multilevel Governance in Europe on 3 April 2014. The Charter calls for the use and promotion of multilevel governance in future undertakings of all public authorities - local, regional, national, and European. Now, the Charter is open for signature by all EU cities and regions.

INTERREG IVC on boosting innovation

Nicolas Singer, INTERREG IVC Senior Project Officer, published an article on how 'Shared knowledge will boost EU regional innovation' in the latest issue of Parliament Magazine, devoted to the upcoming WIRE 2014 conference in Athens, Greece. He will take part in the conference with a presentation about the contribution of interregional cooperation to innovation in Europe. CHARTS opens a second call for speakers

INTERREG IVC project CHARTS opens a second calls for speakers for their final conference on 10-13 September, 2014, in Volos, Greece. The speakers are invited to submit their abstracts on any of 12 good practice topics linked to 'Engaging Culture and Heritage for Sustainable Tourism Development'. Deadline for submission of the abstracts is 30 June, 2014. More information and an abstract form are available on the project website.

Join e-CREATE in Nevers Hackathon

INTERREG IVC project e-CREATE calls for participants to join a 36-hour Hackathon in Nevers, France, on 19-21 June 2014. The project will present the new application toolkit at a short conference and provide the source code. Then a competition to create the best usable app can start. INTERREG IVC projects INNOVAge and CASA join forces to organise a conference on 'Creating unity out of diversity: sustaining lessons learnt in Active Ageing' on 7 October 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. The joint final conference will present achievements of the two projects in addressing many challenges linked to demographic ageing.

INTERREG IVC at WIRE 2014

INTERREG IVC participates in the WIRE conference on Rebooting Regional Policy for Innovation and Growth on 12-13 June 2014 with a presentation on how interregional cooperation contributes to innovation.

Call for speakers at CHARTS conference
