'Europe, let's cooperate!' - record numbers in Bologna

The first day of the forum has just finished. Almost 800 people in Bologna and over 1000 connected online took part in the launch of the new interregional cooperation programme INTERREG EUROPE. They also learnt about the achievements of INTERREG IVC. Those present then shared their project ideas at four thematic workshops and numerous networking sessions. Champagne-Ardenne informs about INTERREG EUROPE

INTERREG IVC national contact point in France together with North West Europe organise another regional information seminar on the achievements of the two programmes and the cooperation possibilities in 2014-2020. Already the fifth seminar in a row takes place on 7 November 2014 in Châlons-en-Champagne in Champagne-Ardenne, France. Registration to the seminar is open till 30 October 2014.

'MED on the move' - annual event of MED programme

Transnational programme MED (Europe in the Mediterranean) invites all to join their annual event 'MED on the move'. In two weeks, representatives of the programme will meet at four different locations with their project partners and stakeholders to discuss the programme results of the 2007-2013 period as well as the cooperation possibilities for the future 2014-2020 period. At all events live stream is available: 14 October: Valencia (in Spanish and Portuguese); 16 October: Thessaloniki (in Greek); 20 October: Ljubljana (in English); 24 October: Florence (in English and Italian)

The INTERREG IVC/ INTERREG EUROPE Secretariat is looking for one Project Finance Officer and one Administration Assistant. The Project Finance Officer will assist applicants and lead partners in the development and implementation of their project and contribute to a successful programme implementation. The Administration Assistant will support the Joint Technical Secretariat. Deadline for applications is 1 November 2014.

The two-day event on 2-3 December 2014 in Bologna, Italy, will present the achievements of INTERREG IVC and launch the new INTERREG EUROPE programme. The forum will offer many partner search, project idea generation and networking possibilities. The registration is open till 20 November, 2014.

INTERREG IVC on the OPEN DAYS Screen

OPEN DAYS Cinema opens for the first time during this year's edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities on 7-8 October 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. All OPEN DAYS participants can view videos showcasing excellent projects and good practices there. INTERREG IVC programme video on knowledge resources together with a Cycle Cities project video present how interregional cooperation helps improve citizen's daily lives.

INTERREG IVC OPEN DAYS workshops webstreamed

The registration to the OPEN DAYS 2014 workshops closed about a week ago with over 5000 participants signed-up online. For those who did not manage to register or cannot come in person, the OPEN DAYS organisers provide access to many workshops via webstreaming. The INTERREG IVC workshop on 'Success factors for regional policies on innovation and entrepreneurship' (7 October, 14:30-17:00) and the joint workshop on 'Getting the most out of pan-European cooperation programmes - 2014-2020' (8 October, 11:15–13:00) will be webstreamed as well. INTERREG IVC projects at side events of Open Days 2014
