INTERREG IVC Feedback Seminar on the Exchange of Experience Study 'Improving policy-making through learning'

Posted on 2nd July 2013 | Category: Programme

Last year, the INTERREG IVC Lead partners were invited to the Exchange of Experience seminar in Barcelona. This event was an opportunity to meet other representatives of the projects and discuss different project management models. A majority of the participants also expressed their wish to have a follow up event.

The INTERREG IVC programme also carried out a study on the exchange of experience processes. Interesting findings and recommendations are presented in the final document which is published on the programme website.

In this context the Programme is organising the follow up event in Dublin (Ireland) on 25 June 2013.

Aim of the seminar

The aim of the seminar is primarily to disseminate the results of the study on how projects apprehend and organise successfully their exchange of experience (component 3). Secondly, the seminar aims at exploring ways how to put into practice these findings and thus enable projects to further exploit their potential to improve local or regional policies. It will also serve as a networking platform to meet partners from other INTERREG IVC projects. The draft agenda of the seminar can be found here.

Who can participate?

The seminar is dedicated to the Lead Partners (coordinators) or component 3 leaders of the Regional Initiative Projects approved under 4th call. In principle, the participation is limited to one person per project. But two persons may be exceptionally accepted in case component 3 is not led by the Lead Partner. In this specific case, please contact Verena Priem (; +33 328 144 108).

The participation costs (travelling and accommodation) are eligible to the programme and can be reported in your next progress report.

The interested Lead Partners from not running projects are welcome to join the seminar on their own costs.

We kindly ask participants to register online by Tuesday, 11 June 2013.

Your participation will be confirmed by separate email within three days after your registration. Therefore, you should not make your travel arrangements before receiving the confirmation.

In case you require any further information on the seminars’ organisation or meet any difficulties when doing the registration, please contact Verena Priem (; +33 328 144 108).
