Topic of the practice

It is a public company at the disposal of SMEs and entrepreneurs to consolidate and diversify the region’s economic and industrial environment. It nurtures entrepreneurial spirit, identify, promote and develop business projects and encourage innovation.

To support business creation in all spheres: entrepreneurs, universities, companies...

To detect new business ideas for Navarra.
To promote entrepreneurial values in: schools, universities, workers, the unemployed, etc.
To nurture and support innovation to enhance the competitiveness of companies.
To train innovative, effective and modern businesspeople.
To nurture diversification in the regional economy.
Business ideas: to identify and promote business oportunities in the region.
Business creation: giving advise and support, viability analysis, training, etc.
Incubation: spaces for new businesses, sharing administrative services and giving advise.
Consolidation: support to consolidate the business, plan a growth strategy.
Information technologies: contribute to implant ICTs in the companies.
Innovation: promotion of R+D projects, sectorial and cluster development.
Educate in initiative: raise awareness on science, technology and business issues in the educative system.
Funding: managing special loans for entrepreneurs and companies.

Evidence of success

Some results in 2009:
Business ideas: 21 ideas identified.
Business creation: 60 new companies (2 ICT based; 11 innovative) / 111 new jobs / 784 people trained in business creation.
Incubation: 24 companies using the spaces (6 new).
Consolidation: 173 companies accompanied in their growth plans / 319 companies in innovation, cooperation and ICT projects.
Information technologies: 62 training courses / 1037 students.
Innovation: 85 companies adhered to the Innovative Businesses Club / 60 companies analyzed for R&D projects.
Educate in initiative: 70 educative centres / 2720 students / 1563 universitary ones.
Funding: 10 companies supported with own funding.
