Location GERMANY NORDRHEIN-WESTFALEN Münster Start/End date of the practice
Start: The activity is a continuous effort.

Topic of the practice

To inform individuals on possibilities to work across the border as well as answering questions on individual cases (problems with taxes, pensions, insurances, etc).

Good Practice Information

Local consultation hours aim at informing individuals who seek information about the cross-border labour market "at home", i.e. in the towns/municipalities they live in. To this end, consultations take place after the normal working hours, in most cases from 6pm to 7pm. By doing so, barriers to access of information can be overcome.

Evidence of success

The visibility of the Border Services Centre sees an increase. Consultation hours take place on a regular basis and in different places on both sides of the border.
