Good Practice Information

COPROTEC is a company linked to a public association in a public-private partnership. In its private activity, it equips energy professionals with tools to enable them to understand what is happening in new and traditional energy markets. Coprotec has been designated as a National Innovation Centre for Manual Trades. It was founded in 1998, giving it long-term expertise. COPROTEC training is provided in two ways. Professionals can come to the Coprotec premises, where they can take a course in marketing, environmental regulation, or other more technical matters, depending on the training requested. Otherwise, training is provided using a mobile training facility. Coprotec training also includes courses of a practical nature, and the Coprotec site is equipped with a number of workshops for practical activities, where professionals can learn in concrete ways how to install a traditional or renewable energy source.

Evidence of success

Turnover has been increasing year-on-year for the company, having a beneficialy impact on the creation of green jobs. Proposals have been put forward to create a professional diploma in thermal energy and energy efficiency.
