State Aid Scheme for SME s entering new foreign markets

The aim of the SAS is to strengthening the position of Lower Austrian companies in international markets.Is a financial support for SME s, who are intending to enter new foreign markets or for the participation in foreign fairs presenting their products or services to a new foreign market.Is running under the European State Aid Regulation “General block exemption Regulation L 214/3 v. 9.8.2008
. The aid is a grant of 50% of the eligible project costs which are covered when entering new markets: External consultancy for conceptual design like feasibility studies and market analyses, data collection related to the new market, studies regarding the description of the company and its products related to the cultural und promotional background of the target country.
Evidence of success
maintained jobs per € 1,000 Gross Grant Equivalent (GGE), additional turnover per €1,000 GGE, new and maintained R&D jobs per € 1,000 GGE, additional R&D budget per € 1,000 GGE and additional export
per € 1,000 GGE. This is the result of the TO P Ranking analysis of all 33 selected SAS within the OSA IS projects covering all types of beneficiaries.
