Innov'R is a open call for projects, to support the implementation of R&D projects in the field of eco-innovation. The main objective of the programme is to develop a support for SMEs, and to bring all eco-innovation stakeholders of the region together in a one-stop-shop scheme for businesses seeking to implement eco-innovation projects. This instrument has been adopted in order to reap the potential benefit of eco-innovation,in terms of added value creation for businesses, job creation and sustainable economic development. The tool was also designed to enhance the coherence fo the multiple existing regional policy tools (OSEO, ADEME, AFNOR? INPI) and simplify the process to obtain support for enterprises. It cover 5 fields: energy, construction and sustinable development, eco-innovative proces, prodctus and services, GHG emission managment, environmental measuring and evaluation. 10M€ have been founded since 2008.

Evidence of success

The results of the practice are encouraging: From the beggining, 320 application have been received (75% of SMEs between 2 and 50 employees), with a success rate of 50% - 177 selecterd funded applications. Success in facilitating the implementation of eco-innovcation projects within regional SMEs, and in allowing SMEs to obtain complementary funding or establish partnerships.
