Good Practice Information

ENERGETICS is a strongly thematic annual event organised in Lublin, Poland. What makes it different to other similar fairs is that it has a comprehensive approach, combining commercial, investment and pedagogic opportunities. The event is supported by national and regional administration, as well as by Chambers of Commerce & businesses, and sector-related universities. Another important aspect is that it actively involves, besides the regional actors, larger context stakeholders and the EU. ENERGETICS is organised by the International Lublin Fair. Free collaboration events are organised by the Business Support for North-East Poland consortium owned by the Enterprise Europe Network.
The overall aim of the ENERGETICS Energy Fair is to promote implementation of environmental standards and environmentally superior products in order to reduce environmental impacts and enhance carbon management. Furthermore, it aims to familiarise participants, in particular entrepreneurs and representatives of local governments, with the problem of harnessing the potential of renewable energy sources in order to increase the competitiveness of the local economy, and the issues related to energy effciency improvements.
Activities included in th event are the following:
(1) Exhibition of renewable energy-based products and solutions. Stands, seminars for professionals held by trade associations, a seminar held by the Lublin Eco-Energy Cluster, presentation of cluster partners’ offers in the fair stand, study visit of foreign partners at the fair and free collaboration events are organised by the Business Support for North-East Poland consortium owned by the Enterprice Europe Network.
(2) Collaboration meetings are 30-minute sessions scheduled beforehand. Based on requests, meetings are scheduled involving table-talks. During the meetings, experienced EEN consultants offer their assistance.
(3) Seminars are held to share knowledge on innovative solutions and new technologies in renewable energy and energy efficiency improvements. Seminar participants come from businesses, universities, trade assocciations, students, academic circle and school teachers.
