L'Anella is ACC1Ó’s platform for business knowledge and networking. It aims to promote and strengthen the competitiveness of catalan businesses. It is a virtual meeting point for all agents involved in innovation and internationalisation processes.

Good Practice Information

L’Anella (LA) works mainly online, as a content website. It delivers its contents and messages through newsletters, online social networks and online activity. Quality content -through company’s business cases, interviews, videos, studies, trends, etc.- it’s its main delivery strategy. Business prospective is the most present topic in our contents, and it’s produced from within ACC1Ó, by its International Prospective Observatory, OME.
LA also works in ‘communities of practice’ for several industrial sectors. With them, the delivery strategy is a blended one, with offline networking seminars and online conversations and activities.
The main activities may be:
- Knowledge hunting: LA captures the best ideas from the seminars, lectures and trainings done offline by ACC1Ó or by other partners, to offer them online, in a long tail strategy.
- Knowledge production: LA elaborates ‘exemplary’ content, from companies’ experiences.
- Knowledge tagging, edition and online distribution: different sources produce valuable knowledge for our companies. LA tags it, puts it in its knowledge bank and stirs it through different push communication channels.
- Business opportunities: Along with the knowledge bank, LA displays a business opportunities bank that delivers collaboration, commercial, technological and project-oriented real opportunities.

Evidence of success

We have a strong presence in al principal social networks which we perceive to be relevant for our target: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIN and YouTube, are the most important, although L’Anella can also be found in Slideshare, Del.icio.us, Flickr, Feedburner, etc. We carry on search engine marketing campaigns; we deliver our content through several RSS channels
News and updates are also distributed in special mobile applications for iPhone and Android, along with a “mobile” version of the portal has been optimised for other mobile devices.2010 data: More than 25.000 members.More than 16.500 monthly visits.More than 60.000 pages viewed monthly.
