Good Practice Information
The aim of I-Bolt is to develop and sell new products (pizza with sorghum, purple corn, frozen wine, etc.), which are developed in cooperation by the university and SMEs. In order to sell these new products, they created a shop and participate in exhibitions to meet consumers. I-Bolt also developed the I-Klub, an informal forum for consumers and researcher to meet and collaborate with each other.
Evidence of success
I-Bolt is the best place for both researchers and consumers to meet with newly developed products which are very healthy. The researchers can get back direct feedback about the new products and consumers can offer some changes to researchers. In the last few years the cluster management activities was supported but it was only for team building. The daily operation is still challenge for clusters.
