Good Practice Information

The remote and automatic reading of heat meters makes consmption information available on a consistent and real time basis and removes the risk of human error in meter reading.
Reading data at a specific time enables accurate heat data analysis and the evaluation of each user's heat consumption profiles. The system can be linked to other IT systems for technical, analytical or customer services needs.

Evidence of success

The practise allows for the collection of real time information on heat loses and operation of heat meters. Potential problems can be quickly identified and remedied, improving the quality of services; less time-consuming billing; lower error; increased customer service options and optimised human resources. Efficient production, delivery and control of the heat reduces CO2 emissions.
