Good Practice Information

TG are local entrepreneurs, intermediaries, potential buyers or interested wishing to take over a company, what is involved in the takeover process, possible pitfalls, find a buyer/seller and support.
The programme usually includes:
• case studies;
• information about finding buyers/sellers;
• tax tips from experts;
• identifying and influencing company value;
• explanation of financing for takeover.
• talk over your personal situation with various consultants.
• meeting/networking with potential buyers or sellers

Sellers attending are micro/small entrepreneurs (1-5fte).

Evidence of success

Key factor that made this Good Practice successful is the provision of information so people get an overview of what is involved in buying/selling a business, low barriers for buyers/sellers to get together (free of charge) and regional character. Attracting between 200-400 guests/year. In 2013, 12 regional events were scheduled in May. Direct effects of success (numbers) are not available.
