Good Practice Information

In this case study, we wish to highlight the technology transfer supporting activities that are organized at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. In order to provide the reader with a comprehensive overview of these activities, we focus our discussion on the entrepreneurship education program set up by the team ‘Technology Entrepreneurship’ (TE)
and the communication activities of the Technology Transfer Interface (TTI) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).

Evidence of success

TTI has generated 22 spin-offs, of which 7 in life sciences. Four of the VUB spin-offs have been founded in close collaboration with the technology entrepreneurship team. Full success stories on http://vubtechtransfer.be/success-stories/
