Good Practice Information

BioEmprenedorXXI is a program designed to support and train entrepreneurial teams during the creation of their life sciences company, more specifically the fields of biotechnology, biomedicine and agrifood. The program's mission is to promote the creation of quality, innovative companies with a sense of the future in the life sciences sector in Barcelona and Catalonia.
This would help to grow the business fabric in the biotechnology arena and to build its ecosystem.

Evidence of success

Over a 5 years period, 81 business projects have participated in the one year program track: 34 projects ended up creating companies, 13 projects are in the process of doing so, 5 projects are exploring alternative approaches and 12 projects are cancelled.
