Care Living Labs in Flanders support care initiatives, addressing all aspects of care for the elderly, including prevention, awareness, detection, intervention and care.
iMinds is Flanders' digital research center and business incubator with 850+ top researchers located at 5 Flemish universities.iMinds introduce digital innovation in ICT, Media, Health, Energy, Smart Cities and Manufacturing..
iMinds collaborate with research partners to convert digital knowhow into real-life products and services that change people's lives for the better. Key asset is the agile, open research mind set and proven methodology. As a business incubator, iMinds also guides researchers, young entrepreneurs and start-ups in the successful market introduction of their ideas.

Evidence of success

The Living Lab Care Flanders has been financially supported by the Flemish government for three years, throughout which 6 platforms have been selected (Each platform comprises several testing projects).
