Good Practice Information

A Slovenian Co-working centre is very successful in attracting people working in the creative industry; artists, ICT developers, social entrepreneurs, who all started at a humble jelly event in 2012. The participants were so enthusiastic about the jelly that they started to meet weekly doing different workshops and trainings. They were offered free internet and premises without rent for their
meetings. Today the co-working center has 15 co-workers who develop contracts with other co-working centers in EU and who support the etsablishment of other co-working communities in Slovenia and abroad. The centre is voluntary based and use innovative approaches for developing new services and trainings,

Evidence of success

Startiing from 1 jelly event, it has now led to that 4 people volunteered more than 3.000 hours in 2012, 33 joint co-working days in 2012, more than 800 co-workers used the facilities in 2012, 17 events with more than 700 co-creaters were carried out in 2012, more than 1700 users on Facebook and more than 600 via Twitter in 2012.
