Coop service is a support structrure aiming to make the start up phase work integrated social enterprises smoother and easier. It also takes care of the common issues of administration, finance, human resoursces, professional development of the included cooperatives. If asked Kooptjänst also manage real estate and property, cooperate on procurement and coordinate purchasing and marketing.
Kooptjänst is developing a support tool to facilitate the transition from project to real businesses. With its method, the projects can directly and in parallel, start working as a company with sales and construction of equity to build up the company and begin to employ project participants.
Evidence of success
In 2010 the first person got employed by Kooptjänst and June 2014 the number of employees is extended to 80. Initially Kooptjänst involved 4 municipalities, today there are 8 municipalities with requests of interest from several other municipalities to be further involved.
The turnover has evolved from 2, 9 million Swedish krona in the year of 2010 to 13,8 million Swedish krona for 2013.
