Good Practice Information

The DCF’s aim is to support the innovation potential and the economic factor linked to the digital creative industries. It seeks to support the development and production of interactive media applications, such as digital games, mobile applications, interactive and cross media products. Creative workers,start-ups etc. can apply for the funding of concept, prototyping, production, and distribution.
There are two funding options within the programme that address the different needs of the specific projects. The bigger projects can seek funding for DCF-L in order to access larger sums.
Smaller projects on the other hand can get financing from DCF-S for up to 20,000 Euros. These two options ensure the “right fit” for different projects.

Evidence of success

The DCF has already been recognized as a good practice and triggered a positive echo by critics due to its exceptional art work, interesting story and its fun characters. Worth mentioning the nominee for “best newcomer” at the renowned Deutscher Computerspielepreis (German Games Award),“The Inner World”
by Studio FIZBIN received support from DCF.
