INTERREG IVC brought inspiration to Czech regions
The third in a row 'Inspiration for future' workshop organised by INTERREG IVC for representatives of public authorities and bodies governed by public law took place on 11 April 2013 in Prague, Czech Republic. The participants discussed the benefits for their regions and interregional cooperation in the new funding period 2014-2020.

INTERREG IVC Workshop ‘Inspiration for Future’ in Slovenia 13/03/2013
‘Inspiration for Future’ Workshop for Slovenian representatives of regional authorities and bodies governed by public law took place in Ljubljana (SI) on 13 March 2013. The representatives of Information Point (a body constituted in order to provide information as well as to promote the programme in a defined area) East and Slovenian National Contact Point (institution designated by each Member States to promote the programme amongst potential project applicants in their country and support them in generating projects ...) welcomed 30 participants from all over Slovenia.
2nd meting of the INTERREG IVC Capitalisation experts 05/03/2013
INTERREG IVC capitalisation experts met in Brussels to discuss quality standards for the work they deliver. They also also participated in the brainstorming session on the second year of implementation of the Capitalisation activities. 19 experts out of 26 were present.

INTERREG IVC project partners representing 20 Capitalisation type of projects, EC representatives, Monitoring Committee members and other relevant organisations gathered to the event hosted by Cyprus. During the event 80 participants discussed on the achievements and lessons learnt from implementation of Capitalisation type projects which have a core element to mainstream good practices to the national and regional operation (any project or action carried out by the final beneficiaries of INTERREG IVC) programmes.
INTERREG IVC Thematic Programme Capitalisations Workshops from 29/10/2012 to 16/11/2012
12 Thematic Capitalisation Workshops were held with success in Brussels at the Committee of Regions. 315 people participated in the workshops. 105 INTERREG IVC project representatives, thematic experts, European Commission representatives and other relevant actors in the thematic fields have discussed the projects' achievements.
Euregia trade fair 22-24/10/2012
The INTERREG IVC programme played an active role in the euregia trade fair 2012 organised in Leipzig, Germany. The Programme had an exhibition stand presenting the INTERREG IVC projects’ achievements, organised a workshop on innovation and contributed to an international conference on support to SMEs presenting the SMART+ project.
OPEN DAYS 2012 workshop 'Towards Europe 2020 aims: Interregional solutions for smart specialisation' 10/10/2012
The workshop on smart specialisation and gave the floor to three INTERREG IVC projects: TRES, BORDWIIS+ and KNOW-HUB. 132 people participated in the workshop.

INTERREG IVC programme organised a workshop with the ESPON, URBACT and INTERACT programmes. The input of interregional cooperation to the discussion on urban transport issues was presented by the PIMMS CAPITAL project and the thematic capitalisation expert.

OPEN DAYS 2012 workshop 'INTERREG IVC capitalisation initiative: how EU regions can benefit? 09/10/2012
The INTERREG workshop on the Thematic Capitalisation initiative included practical examples in the field of creative industries (CREA.RE project) and climate change (GRaBS project). 136 participants were interested to learn about the capitalisation process.

OPEN DAYS 2012: Opening of the INTERREG IVC Exhibition 08/10/2012
The results of 204 projects conducted under the Interreg IVC interregional cooperation programme were displayed during the OPEN DAYS. The stands on good practices were based on ten themes ranging from Innovation, Research & Technological Development and Employment, Human Capital and Education to Water Management and Energy and Sustainable Transport.

INTERREG IVC Exchange of Experience Seminar 19/06/2012
Seminar on Exchange of Experience Approaches for 1st-3rd call Regional Initiative projects (Regional Initiative Projects are classic interregional cooperation projects comparable to those already supported under the INTERREG IIIC programme. They allow ...) partners took place in Barcelona (ES) on 19 June 2012. The staff of the Joint Technical Secretariat and the four Information Points welcomed 120 participants, representing 82 projects.

Finance Seminars for the 4th call approved projects took place in Vienna (AT) on 5 June 2012 and in Dublin (IE) on 12 June 2012.
INTERREG IVC Communication Seminars 17-18/04/2012
Communication Seminars for the 4th call approved projects and 1st-3rd call approved projects took place in Sofia (BG) on 17-18 April 2012. The staff of the Joint Technical Secretariat and the four Information Points welcomed 150 participants, representing 110 projects.
INTERREG IVC Online Reporting Seminars- 16,21/02/2012
Online Reporting Seminars for the running projects approved in 1st-3rd Calls took place in Rome (IT) on 16 February 2012 and in Paris (FR) on21 February 2012. The staff of the Joint Technical Secretariat welcomed 50 participants, representing 47 projects.

The 4th call Lead Partner Seminar took place in Copenhagen (DK) on 23 January 2012. The staff of the Joint Technical Secretariat and the four Information Points welcomed 173 participants, representing all 82 projects approved under conditions in December 2010.
