Below you will find an alphabetical list of all the speakers that will be present in the event. All staff members of INTERREG IVC / INTERREG EUROPE Joint Technical Secretariat were involved in the organisation of this event and will be present on spot. Complete list available here.

Magdalini Anagnostou

Capitalisation officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Ms Anagnostou is coordinating the INTERREG IVC Thematic  Capitalisation initiative. She has been working the last 8 years in European Territorial Programmes and before she was content and legal adviser for EU projects. Magdalini holds a master in Law and Political Science and is specialised in systems thinking and development management. 

Irma Astrauskaite

Communication officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Ms Astrauskaite is responsible for communication activities and events organisation at the INTERREG IVC programme. For the last 6 years she has been dealing with communication tasks in two different European Territorial Cooperation programmes (cross-border and interregional).  Using her experience in journalism, contemporary media and public relations she never stops looking for new ways to tell a captivating story.

Carl Arvid Dahlöf 

Expert in Research and Innovation, Inno AG filial Scandinavia, Sweden

Mr Dahlöf is a consultant at inno AG's Stockholm office, where he has been involved as an evaluator in a number of EU-funded projects. Currently he serves as an INTERREG IVC Capitalisation Expert for the Innovation Systems topic. He has previous experience at the EU Delegation to the US and the Swedish Embassy in Washington, DC. Carl Arvid holds a MSc in Management and Economics of Innovation from Chalmers University of Technology. 

Benoit Dalbert

Project officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Mr Dalbert is responsible for providing assistance to potential applicants, supports approved projects and monitors their development. Before joining the INTERREG IVC JTS in October 2007, Benoît worked for one year in the French public administration as Policy Officer for cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation programmes.

Philippe Delearde  

Expert in Competitiveness of SMEs, Inno AG, France

Mr Delearde is an expert in innovation policy, working for public authorities as well as for large enterprises. He has carried out many evaluations of public policies and has recently dealt with regional innovation strategies and smart specialisation strategies. He is also managing incubators for young entrepreneurs.

Elena Ferrario

Project officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Ms Ferrario supports approved projects and monitors their development. She provides assistance to potential applicants and is involved in the assessment of project proposals. Elena holds a master degree in International Relations and International Safeguarding of Human Rights. She studied at the Universities of Padua (Italy) and Madrid (Spain).

Erika Fulgenzi

Project officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Ms Fulgenzi is responsible for providing assistance to potential applicants, supports approved projects and monitors their development. Before joining the INTERREG IVC JTS, Erika worked for four years at SVIM, the Regional Development Agency of Marche Regional Authority, in Italy, where she managed several projects both co-financed by the EU Structural Funds, such as INTERREG III Adriatic New Neighbourhood Programme, INTERREG IIIB CADSES, INTERREG IIIC North, and directly funded by EC, such us LLP and PROGRESS Programmes.

Petra Geitner

Senior finance officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Responsibilities of Ms Geitner range from advising project lead applicants and lead partners on financial matters to assessing project proposals, monitoring running projects with a focus on financial and first level control matters; as well as making payments to the Lead partners in cooperation with the Certifying Authority after approval of the progress reports. Before joining the JTS in 2003, Petra worked for an international audit firm in Germany where she was involved in the audit of European programmes financed from the Structural Funds.

Peter Heydebreck

Expert in Research and Innovation, Inno AG, Germany

Prof Dr Heydebreck is a thematic expert for the Innovation Systems theme of the INTERREG IVC programme. He mentors and advises national and regional governments and multi-national organisations (e.g. EU, OECD, UNIDO) in the field of innovation policy and competitiveness and has also served as a member of the Research Commission of the German Science Council (Wissenschaftsrat). Peter holds a professorship for Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Malmö (Sweden).

Michel Lamblin

Programme Director, INTERREG IVC, France

Mr Lamblin is the Director of the INTERREG IVC Programme. Michel has a strong background in coordinating European operations and, in his previous role as Head of European and International Affairs for the French Nord-Pas de Calais Region. With post-graduate diplomas in Engineering, Spatial Planning and Business Administration, Michel worked for over ten years in the Energy and Waste sector before moving to the European Federation of Regional Energy and Environment Agencies in Brussels and becoming National Expert in the European Commission’s DG Environment in 1993.

Jason Martinez

Project officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Mr. Martinez is responsible for providing assistance to potential applicants, supports approved projects and monitors their development. Before INTERREG IVC, he worked for seven years at IDEPA, the Regional Development Agency of Asturias Regional Authority, in Spain, where he managed several projects co-financed by the EU Structural Funds, such as INTERREG IIIC South ESTIIC, INTERREG IVC nano4m, BORDWIIS+ and Atlantic Area AT-Clusters.

Séverine Ouvry

Expert in Competitiveness of SMEs, Inno TSD, France

Ms Ouvry is an expert in innovation. Her background as a researcher in the United States and her experience in a French Innovation Agency has allowed her to gain experience to help SMEs, academic researchers and other stakeholders build multi-disciplinary research projects and innovation services. Séverine joined inno as a consultant in economic development and policy evaluation.

Verena Priem

Project officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Ms Priem is Project Officer within the INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat. She is responsible for providing assistance to potential applicants, supports approved projects and monitors their development.
Verena graduated in Political Sciences and holds a Master's degree in European Affairs.

Koen Rademaekers 

Expert in Low-carbon economy, Triple E Conuslting, The Netherlands

Mr Rademaekers is a managing director of Triple E Consulting. His energy and environmental experience covers financial, industrial, policy and technical expertise with experience ranging from the academic (assistant professor at the VUB), to the private as well as the public sector. Prior to starting-up Triple E Consulting, Koen was head of Ecorys’ Energy & Environment unit for more than 5 years. He has managed international teams and completed many assignments for the European Commission, the EIB, World Bank, EBRD, and IADB. 

Begona Sanchez

Innovation Strategies and Policies Manager, TECNALIA Research & Innovation, Spain

Ms Sanchez is an expert project manager in European funded research and structural fund projects regarding innovation strategy and policy development as well as evaluation of public policies. She has both a theoretical and applied knowledge of European policies and regulations and their impact on regional economies. Currently, project manager of TRES and partner of Know-Hub and INNOFUN INTERREG IVC projects. She participates in launching new initiatives in the field of Innovation Policies for the Joint Institute for Innovation Policies. Prior professional experience includes private consultancy firms, regional government delegation and European Commission.

Astrid Severin

Expert in Environment and resource efficiency, Greenovate! Europe, Belgium

Ms Severin is co-founder and Managing Director of Greenovate! Europe, and previously worked as Policy Officer at DG Enterprise and Industry. Being responsible for the PAXIS initiative, she gained substantial experience in regional innovation policy for innovation financing, technology transfer, incubation, and innovation management. Before joining the Commission, Astrid was a senior consultant at Saatchi & Saatchi Business Communications.

Nicolas Singer

Senior project officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Mr. Singer is responsible for ensuring the delivery of project development advice, overseeing the assessment of project proposals, monitoring the implementation of projects and evaluating the project’s achievements. Before joining INTERREG IVC, Nicolas worked for various regional authorities in UK and in France on economic development and information society issues.

Erwin Siweris

Deputy Programme Director, INTERREG IVC, France

Mr Siweris shares management of the INTERREG IVC programme with the Programme Director, with a particular emphasis on projects. He has experience in managing finances for the INTERREG IIC and IIIB programmes in Rostock, Germany; and two years with the Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel, Germany, advising SMEs about EU funding schemes. Before INTERREG IVC, Erwin was Deputy Programme Manager in the INTERREG IIIC West Programme.

Wolfgang Streitenberger

Adviser to the Director General, DG for Regional and Urban policy, EC, Belgium

Economist by education,  dr. Wolfgang Streitenberger is currently the Adviser to the Director General, DG Regional and Urban policy, European Commission. Previously, he advised the Director General of DG Information Society Followed and served as the Head of European Commission Representation to Austria. Wolfgang Streitenberger is an inspiring lecturer who taught various subjects, including Public Relations and Marketing at the Academy for Public Affairs and the Institute for Promotion of SMEs in Vienna. He is the author of numerous publications and the awardee of several honours. 

Akos Szabo

Project officer, INTERREG IVC Joint Technical Secretariat, France

Mr Szabo is responsible for providing assistance to potential applicants, supports approved projects and monitors their development. Before INTERREG IVC, Akos worked as a programme manager at the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Slovenia-Hungary-Croatia INTERREG IIIA Neighbourhood Programme in Slovenia and at the Prime Minister’s Office in Hungary dealing with financial control and monitoring of EU funds and of the national budget.

Jean-Marc Venineaux  

DG for Regional and Urban Policy, EC, Belgium

Mr Jean-Marc.Venineaux is graduated  in public administration and European affairs. He  started his career in the French administration, where he was in charge of the management of the European programmes. He joined the European Commission in 1992 in the Directorate General for Regional Policy , where he worked in the French and the economic units. He then joined the transnational and interregional cooperation unit, and was in charge of following –up and facilitating the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. He was recently appointed as quality management officer to improve quality of work on macroregional strategies and to ensure better coordination between them, as well as to ensure transfer of practical experience on horizontal questions concerning every macroregional strategy. He is also in charge of the interregional programmes Interreg Europe and Interact.  

Robert Williams 

Expert in Low-carbon economy, Triple E Consulting, UK

Mr Williams is a senior consultant with Triple E Consulting, expert in energy and the environment. His almost 20 years of consultancy experience includes extensive policy and programme evaluation and analysis work for the European Commission and the UK government. Rob's knowledge of the low-carbon economy includes technologies, incentives, finance, innovation and skills.
